National recognition for award winning business

A North Wales business has been singled out for success in 2012 by an international chief executive. Outperform Training, based in Abergele, has been selected by Jacqueline Gold, chief executive of Ann Summers and Kickbox to be one of her Women on Wednesday and can now display the WOW logo.

Every week Jacqueline chooses three female run businesses who she believes deserve success in the future. Through twitter she acknowledges their entrepreneurship and achievements.

Managing Director, Dawn Roberts, a former national training manager for BUPA and who was recently awarded Businesswoman of the Year for 2011 in the Free2Network Awards, was delighted to receive the recognition.

Her company, who specialise in sales campaign management and helping sales teams and individuals, celebrated five successful years in business last month.

Dawn is behind a major business event being held at Venue Cymru, Llandudno, in March when she aims to motivate over 350 people to GROW their business and beat the recession. The unique day will be filled with tips, tools and training from a team of experts sharing their skills in subjects such as Sales, Marketing, Social Media, Profit & Margin and Networking.

Dawn said: “I was absolutely delighted to receive the recognition for Outperform from Jacqueline Gold. I sent details all about our GROW event in Llandudno on twitter to Jacqueline as every Wednesday she selects her favourite three.

“I have now been invited to join her WOW Facebook site which features other winners, which is great news for the company.”

“Since I first started Outperform five years ago we have continued to grow and develop, going from strength to strength during the recession and it is great to see this acknowledged.”

In the past five years Outperform has trained staff in more than 5,000 companies and now currently running six training courses every week.
